Yuriko Asano
Yuriko Asano is consistently interested in plants cultivated for human consumption in various regions and interviews mainly female locals about their ancient/present cultivation methods and the benefits they provide to humans. These stories, together with her imagination, complete her paintings. The symbiosis between humans and nature and also women's labor are her central themes, which are important contemporary themes that have been lost in modern society, and through her paintings, she tries to present a new vision. And her colorful paintings are full of life and celebrate this rich world.
